Anvil Hire Yamaha and R&G back together!By R&G in Superbike on on 11 January 2017

Having enjoyed a fantastic history together, R&G is incredibly proud to once again be the official crash protection supplier to the Anvil Hire Yamaha Superbike team. Run by TAG Racing, the 2017 season looks set to be a phenomenal year for the squad, having signed the services of 2015 MCE British Superbike Champion Josh Brookes alongside rising star Shaun Winfield.

Having been the crash protection supplier to the team for 2013 and 2014, last year we continued to supply TAG Racing with BMC Air Filters before this winter we re-signed to kit out both Yamaha YZF-R1 Superbikes with our full range of products ahead of the 2017 season. Both Josh and Shaun will use the likes of our R&G Tank Sliders, Radiator Guards, Crash Protectors, Engine Case Covers, Rear Sets, Moulded Lever Guards and Cotton Reels to protect their machines.

We’re sure this year is going to be one to remember for the team, and we’re excited to be playing a role in supporting the team – including with some special liveries to be seen later in the season!

Anvil Hire are just the latest team to use R&G Crash Protection, as we also proudly sponsor the WD40 Kawasaki team and the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team as well as a number of teams still to be announced.

R&G UK Sales Manager Alan Garrett added, “Everyone at R&G is very excited to be back with the TAG Racing team. They’ve proven themselves to be one of the top teams in the MCE British Superbike Championship paddock, with three podiums in the premiere class. Signing Josh Brookes, aboard a machine he previously won the Championship with gives all the ingredients for a fantastic 2017 and we’re looking forward to being part of it!”
