R&G support True Heroes Racing for Ducati Trioptions Cup chargeBy R&G in Superbike on on 01 March 2016

True Heroes RacingOver the last few weeks, we’ve been bringing you some of the various teams and riders from across the paddock that we’ll be working with in 2016. This week is no different, and we’re delighted to announce that we will once again be providing crash protection to the incredible True Heroes Racing team!

The team will need no introduction to those of you who have followed the MCE British Superbike Championship over the last few years, and we’ve enjoyed a strong and successful partnership with them since they moved into the series in 2013. This year, we will again be kitting out their three Ducati 899 Panigale machines as well as a Yamaha R6 Supersport machine, which the team are looking to run in the British Supersport Championship later in the season.

Just before they head to Valencia to test, we caught up with Team Manager Phil Spencer, to get his thoughts ahead of the season, “We’re really, really pleased to be remaining with R&G for another season. Since we moved into the BSB paddock we’ve been working closely with the R&G guys, and their support has been invaluable – helping us as we’ve grown from a one rider to team to the three rider squad we are now.

As the guy holding the purse strings for the team, I know first-hand just how important crash protection is. When racing, a crash is inevitable but the quality of the R&G products not only saves us money but also allows us to quickly repair the machine, ready for the next stage.”

True Heroes Racing will also be attending a special Dealer Open day with us on April 2nd at Junction 20 Motorsport, a sister company of Cleveland Motorcycles, the largest R&G stockist in the country. Come by and see the team’s race Panigale up close ahead of them kicking the season off at Silverstone the following week.
