R&G partner Team WD-40 for 2016 BSB ChampionshipBy R&G in Superbike on on 11 January 2016

Now we’ve reached 2016, we thought it was about time to start introducing some of the teams we’ll be supporting in this year’s MCE British Superbike Championship. Kicking things off, we’re incredibly proud to once again partner with GR Motosport – better known as Team WD-40!

Arguably one of the most instantly recognised teams on the grid, the bright yellow machines will be piloted in the blue-riband Superbike class by Jack Kennedy and Sam Hornsey whilst running on the green Stauff Connect Academy bike in the British Supersport series will be Tarran Mackenzie. In keeping with the team’s ethos of helping the best young stars in the UK, Josh Bannister will also return in WD-40 colours for the 2016 FAB British Minimoto Championship. A full range of R&G crash protection will feature across each machine.

R&G Sponsor Team WD-40

Having been with the team for a number of years, we’ve been able to use their racing experience to further develop and improve our products, speaking recently about R&G, the team said “We’re really pleased to be staying with R&G again, and it’s fantastic news that they are also remaining Official Supplier to the BSB series - Team WD-40 Superbike and STAUFF Connect Academy riders tested the R&G products to the max in 2015 and they with stood anything we threw them at – including some very fast crashes!”

As distributors of WD-40 products, it also acts as a fantastic opportunity to further cross-promote R&G, WD-40 and GR Motosport. With just a few weeks left until the season kicks off at Silverstone, we’re looking forward to seeing what the guys can do!
