So there I was, hustling to work on a dull Monday morning, when suddenly everyone in front brakes real quick. I brake hard, perhaps a little too hard. I remember looking through my legs as the tail of my bike goes through the vertical, then WHAAM! I'm lying in the middle of the road and my previously immaculate SV650 is lying there on its side next to me. With a bit of help I lift up the bike, preparing to see that lovely Micron race system scratched, if not flattened. BUT NO!! Thanks to that kindly soul who sold me R&G Crash Protectors at Brands Hatch WSB it's untouched! The only damage was: mirror, brake lever, footpeg and hanger. Tank, exhaust, screen, side fairing and frame all undamaged. Thanks guys you saved me a fortune.
