Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing you regarding a testimonial of your products which I purchased for my bike, SV650N K4 in Black, as an extra precaution in case of an accident which have now been "tested" so to speak.
Unfortunately on Tuesday 6th October 2009 I put the bungs to the test as I low-slided exiting left on a roundabout, hitting some well laid diesel / grease in the road. Coming off at approximately 40mph I expected a lot of damage to be caused to the bike however the crash bungs, bar end sliders and cotton reels have saved an incredible amount of damage which may have occurred on the bike. I believe if it wasn't for those products the entire left side of the engine, frame, radiator and fairing being scratched to death and heavily damaged. The damage which had been saved due to the products allowed me to cautiously ride the bike twenty-two miles home.
Luckily, the only word I can find to describe the damage to the bike and myself, is just cosmetics;
Gear Lever snapped,
Left Mirror,
Bent Bars,
Left Crash Bung,
Left Bar End Slider,
Left Cotton Reel damaged,
Left Foot Peg + Pillion Peg Scratched,
Clutch Lever scratched.
I believe it would have been a lot worse if it weren't for the crash bungs, and additional R&G products which have saved that list being a very hefty invoice!
I'd happily recommend your products to anybody after the damage to the wallet & bike they have saved me!
