John Halton
Hello,

I just thought I'd drop you a quick email to say thank you for such a great product.

I had a spill at roundabout doing about 20 mph. The back slid out on cold tyres and my 2005 ZX6R went down on the right hand side. I got up and fearing the worse picked up my bike. To my amazement the only mark was to the lower right fairing and the very tip of the rear brake pedal had snapped off. No marks whatsoever on any painted part of the bike. The scuff on the panel will be very hard to spot after a clean and a bit of Back to Black. Even the mirror, bar end and brake lever came away completely unscathed. Please note that in the picture the vast majority of those marks are dirt from when I was riding in the rain.

This truly surprised me as a friend had a near identical accident (without R&Gs fitted) and scratched all side panels, seat cowl and front fairing. Plus his mirror, bar end, foot peg, front and rear brake levers were damaged. The quote from the dealer was over £2000 to put right!

What's more, my five friends riding with me at the time couldn't believe it and said that they would be ordering sets for their bikes ASAP. We were all very impressed at how the R&Gs performed, especially after seeing how other makes of crash protectors have done an absolutely appalling job of protecting a bike as it slid on it's side.

So thank you R&G, without a doubt the best £54 I have spent on my bike, I would recommend them to anyone with a bike without hesitation.

Also, is it possible to buy just one crash bung as I need to replace the right hand side one?

Thanks,
Joe Halton
What Our Customers Say:
I have just fitted a tail tidy for a Triumph 675 with an Arrow race system fitted. We were very impressed with the quality and design of your product. Its good to know in this day and age there are still high quality products out there made in the UK.
