R&G Take the Strain

First of all hope sick note (Ross) is better, secondly hears the photo of my bike after it went down the at around 25mph last week in the rain I wont boar you with the circumstances. Hope this illustrates the minimal damage to the bike. The mud guard got most of the damage after the bike mounted the curb before  stopping short of a wall thank god. After a quick inspection the only real dent was in my pride????

Hi Simon
Further to our earlier conversation I attach pics of my Blackbird following the bike being re-patriated from Spain in August.  I had 2 accident during the same trip (they call me lucky!).

Accident 1 was on the outward leg in France on day 2. Pic shows the damage following a slide on diesel @ approx 40 mph on a hairpin.  The bike went down and slid across the road only stopping when it hit the opposite pavement (a slide of about 10/15) meters.  As you can see the crash protector did it's job and despite the scratches, saved the panel and more importantly the engine casing.  I was able to continue my journey down to Spain.
